On Thursday, NFL game QB, Byron Leftwich had a knee injury while playing against Carolina Panthers. This is the first game for Byron Leftwich and the next game he needs to play against, Atlanta Falcons on Sep 12th. In the last NFL season, Leftwich made 4 Touchdown Passes and 3 Interceptions.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Coach, Mike Tomlin stated that, “Leftwich would undergo an MRI on Friday, but a league source told NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi there are concerns about serious damage to the quarterback’s medial collateral ligament.”
Now Leftwich place was replaced by, Dennis Dixon. Dixon stated that he had a great opportunity to play for Steelers and its right time to prove his worth in the game.
