2010 NFL Picks and Predictions, Super Bowl Odds: Now, I am discussing about Super Bowl. While Sports Betting offers you the chance to get in early on the 2010 Super Bowl betting, there are many teams simply not worth your time.
Sure, it’s always nice to bet on the underdog and reap the big payout. But there are no 1999 Rams this year. No team will come out of obscurity and win the NFL championship. So even if the NFL odds look good to win it all, here are some teams to avoid betting on this fall for the title.
Bills
At 125-1, they’re an enticing team to wager a few bucks on and forget about it until the end of the season. But we wouldn’t even drop a nickel on this rag tag bunch. The quarterback situation is a mess and they’ll be losing their best deep threat in T.O. this year. Nope, avoid Buffalo for Super Bowl betting.
Lions
They’re 200-1 and rightfully so! The Lions haven’t given anyone a reason to respect them over the last few years. They’re still recovering from the Matt Millen era. While they appear to have found their quarterback and they do have a couple of other nice pieces, Detroit is a ways away from beating the top teams in the league.
Chiefs
In trying to emulate the Patriots, this 125-1 shot isn’t quite ready for primetime just yet. The defense is all over the place and there are a few question marks on the offensive side of the ball as well. We like their home field advantage, but that’s about it, as far as NFL betting on the Super Bowl is concerned.
Raiders
If they were 300-1 we wouldn’t touch them. This dysfunctional organization may as well have a ‘stay away and don’t bet on me’ sign on the front door. The Super Bowl is the furthest thing from this team’s thinking right now. They just want to score a few points first. Just like the Raiders avoid common sense, avoid Super Bowl betting on them as long shots.
